It's okay Kanye...

It’s been a week since the VMAs aired and that Kanye incident occurred. And ppl r still upset about it and Kanye has apparently disabled comments on his blog. This is crazy! I like Kanye and I’m a frequent guest of his blog (it’s really cool). It just baffles me that ppl r so harsh that he has to disable comments! I cant even say “that’s cool” or “nice post” because ppl might say cruel things to him on HIS blog. It’s bad enough mean comments are on twitter and everyone else’s blog, but ppl might put it on his personal blog too. That sucks.

What Kanye did was uncalled for but I wasn’t expecting Taylor Swift to win either. I voted for Gaga. But I also understand that a lot of other ppl voted too and Taylor obviously won. At the time, I was shocked and hurt for both of them. Hurt for Taylor because of the same reasons u were hurt for her. Hurt for Kanye because he said he would work on his ego and things of that nature, and this was like a step back for him.

I heard and read all kinds of things like “this will hurt kanye’s sells” and ppl saying they’re not a Kanye-fan anymore. Really? Now you know this man’s music is hot. And you knew about Kanye’s forward attitude before this. “George Bush doesn’t care about black people” anyone? We loved and some hated him then. But for the lovers, why hate now?

Sure, he didn’t have to do Taylor Swift like that. But if you’re a real Kanye fan, you kinda know who Kanye is. You heard his pain on 808’s, you’ve seen and heard about his losses, you’ve read his interviews, you know he’s a hard worker, and he’s passionate about music. You knew this before he said it on Jay Leno and before Jay Z said “Ye’s just passionate about what he does”. And like Kanye said on Jay Leno, that’s no excuse. What he did was wrong. He’s knows that and he acknowledges his mistakes and has taken actions to correct that mistake and will continue to work on his behavior in the future. Taylor accepted his apology. Why cant you?

Besides, we all have flaws. Kanye’s has a bigger stage, so when he slips the whole world is watching. When u slip, how many people see u? And when u sincerely apologize and strive to correct it, don’t you hope for a second chance? Granted, Kanye has had several slip-ups. But only recently did he speak of working on this problem. So to me, everything he did before has been excused and this is his first step back.

I guess, what I’m trying to say is “let it go”. I’m sure he feels bad for what he did. He doesn’t need the public throwing it in his face every way he turns. Eventually we’ll move on, and a new Kanye might emerge. But first we have to give him that chance.

In celebration of the Gardener 10th anniversary, and his first USA exhibition; not only is Michael Lau releasing a series of exclusive woodgrain figures, but he is also releasing a pair of Nike SB Stefan Janoski sneakers! The woodgrain theme carries over from his Nike SB Dunk Low seen a few years back, while at the same time referencing the current toy release. The shoe is embossed with the date “09.29.2009″ – the first day of the exhibition – though a release is said to take place on the final day of the show; October 3rd, 2009.

Forever Fashion w/ Punk Twist

I think Forever 21 is my new favorite "mall store." You know, those stores u ALWAYS go into every time u hit the mall. When i was younger it was Rainbow and Rave. Then later on in high school it became Body Shop (aka Body Central). And now, ever since my forever 21, it's Forever 21. Soon i think it will be H&M but not yet. That store is awesome, by the way. Anywho, when i shop online i like to look at their "look books" or the page that displays different outfits. It's easier to identify exactly what look you want to go for. And with soooo many clothes (online and in store), it's easy to get distracted from those pieces u were really looking for. I think they should have looks books in store. Then again, that's what the mannequins are for. lol. Anywho, here's some hot, new looks from my Forever 21. ENJOY! I added my own commentary. ^_^.

Jay Z on Jay Leno

Be sure to watch Jay Z perform his latest single, 'Run This Town,' featuring Kanye West and Rihanna, on the premiere episode of 'The Jay Leno Show.' Kanye and Rihanna are also supposed to be there, so you know it's gonna be amazzing!

The show is scheduled to air on September 14 at 10PM ET.

Tyra's Real Hair

Tyra revealed her real hair on her talk show yesterday, (Click HERE to learn more about Tyra Show). I didnt get to catch it but i was well informed by her twitter page (i'm following her. i love tyra! i really like how she's focused on being a role model for young women and teens). Anywho, here are some pics from the newly updated Tyrabanks.com, which is now her online magizine.

tyra is gorgeous. im glad she's doing this. it's just one more thing that makes her real.

Also, i think i will be tuning to ANTM this season. It's with models under 5'7" and those girls r fiesty. lol. Did u hear about that big brawl that happened at one of the casting calls. Wow. lol. I think it'll be just as fierce as the first few cycles because these girls probably feel like this is their only chance. I'm looking forward to seeing tomorrow on CWTV @ 8PM.

I was browsing the web like i always do, when i went to Google to type something in. Then i thought about if i should go to Bing or Yahoo instead. I stayed at Google.

Google is definitely where i go to search for everything. To me, it's WAY better than Yahoo and although Bing does seem efficient, i'm way too familiar with Google.

So i was wondering, what's your preferred search engine?
