Love is Patient... Love is Kind

I’ve been with my sweetheart for almost nine years now – Now married with beautiful baby girl. People often ask me for the secret to success in a monogamous relationship. Generically, I say it’s about knowing and accepting your partner for whom he/she is, while being cautious of whom you are and never fully compromising your morals and integrity. And while that’s true, I also practice 1 Corinthians 13:4; use his parents and my parents as a guide; and occasionally refer to tactics used in “Why Men Love Bitches” which is about owning who you are, in a nutshell. LOL.

Sometimes, people feel like you have to force a relationship to work. Just because you love each other doesn’t mean you’re supposed to be together. You must first be whole in whom you are to find someone that compliments you. Two whole people make one whole, healthy relationship. You can't jam two puzzle pieces together that don't fit, one or both of them will be torn. In order to find a match, you have to know the outline of the piece and picture within it... know yourself inside and out.

Owning who you are takes strength, so does acceptance of someone. It’s not always easy. It’s painful to separate from someone you’re truly devoted to – even traumatic sometimes – regardless of whether or not that person is "right" for you. And although it may not always end up like a fairytale, I promise you it will almost leave you with peace. And sometimes that is what’s necessary to be emotionally healthy. Ultimately you both need to be understanding, whether intimately tied to that person or not.

However, love does not have to always end in tears. Trust, there is someone, if not a number of people, who coincide with your code of ethics and being. And with that person life is a little easier. You can talk for hours about nothings that matter. You can grow with each other and learn from one another, and add more and more puzzle pieces until you’re left with a grand image!

I’m sure you’ve probably heard this before. But it’s true! I promise you! Remember: you have not, because you ask not. Be patient and speak of your desires – of everything, not just love into existence – and you’ll get it.

Extraterrestrial Make Up

In the new video for her single, 'E.T.,' which will premiere March 31, Perry redefines beauty as it might look in an interplanetary future, and says she's "ready for abduction."PopEater.com

My relationship with this song is bittersweet. On one hand I love it. But on the other hand I'm hating on it 'cause in 2008, I wrote a song called 'ALIEN' about someone's love being unfamiliar and foreign. Katy Perry jacking my stuff!!! That's what happens when you're so damn cool. I guess I'll let her have it this time. And to be honest, her song is slightly better than mine... I guess that's what happens when you have a team of writers and producers behind you, so yeah Katy, you win this time. But I got my eye on you. *side eye

This Might be Epic - Jay Z & Sade

He may be one of the first artists to hop on a track with Sade

According to The YBF, although she said previously that turned her back on collaborations, Sade has tapped Jay-Z for an upcoming Ultimate Collection set for a track called "Moon & The Sky." The project is currently scheduled for a May 3rd release and will make Jay the first hip-hop artist to work with the "Smooth Operator" singer. This ought to be interesting.

After 6 Years, Sailor Moon Returns!

Okay, so i'm pretty excited about this. I absolutely loved Sailor Moon as a child, with Sailor Jupiter and Pluto being my favorite. But for those extreme Moon Fans in U.S., a new Sailor Moon series is now available in print.
Naoko Takeuchi's "Sailor Moon" will relaunch in September under the Kodansha Comics imprint. It will be accompanied by a two-volume prequel series titled "Codename: Sailor V," the first time it will be in print in the U.S. In it, teenager Minako Aino will fight as Sailor V against the Dark Agency before discovering Sailor Moon.

The "Sailor Moon" comic will be released every two months starting in September and feature new cover art, retouched interior art, new dialogue and bonus material never before published in the U.S. The books will be distributed by Random House Publisher Services.

This is great. I just cant wait for it to come back to television with a new series. Maybe this is the start of a SM full comeback. I'll be watching, and i cant wait to see what happens! ^-^

Turn It Up, Turn it Down

After trying to avoid Kim Kardashian's song - Jam (Turn It Up) - because of all its criticism, I gave in and decided to give it a try. Here's my opinion of it...

...That is all.

I Heart Tuesday

Obviously my husband, *cough*, I mean Ne-Yo has many talents as a music artist. But did you know he draws as well? I discovered this hidden talent a while back when there were rumors of him doing a show for Cartoon Network.

In this case, the rumors are true! Ne-Yo has been developing a show called 'I Heart Tuesday'. He said the show is about "a 16-year-old girl that inherits the curse of her bloodline and she's forced to save the world from the unknown evil every Tuesday for the rest of her life."

Hmm, sounds interesting. I'm looking forward to it, especially after Andre 3000's "Class of 3000" and T-Pain's "Freaknic: The Musical". Obviously, these artists are 'artists' for a reason, we probably shouldn't sleep on their creative capabilities.

On another note, I read a while back that Ne-Yo has a bunch of songs especially written for Micheal Jackson that he doesn't know what to do with. Well.... if i could just offer my 2 cents.... I'm sure fans of Ne-Yo and Michael Jackson both (i.e. ME) would love to hear what he came up with, especially since Ne-Yo is a huge fan and is heavily influenced by MJ. Purely from a fan's perspective, I think he should record the tracks and quietly leak them as a 'mixtape' or LP. It'll be one of those things only diligent fans know about... *shrug* Just a thought. What do you think? And how do you feel about Ne-Yo possibly working with Lady Gaga? They've talked about that possibility. Frankly I love Ne-Yo and am bias toward most of his creations, so I have little doubt that whatever he does will be less than amazing.
