This Just Got Serious: The Losers

I cant wait to see this movie!

It's derived from the comic book 'The Losers' by Andy Diggle, released by Vertigo, which also released V for Vendetta (graphic novel) and is under DC Comics.

"Members of an elite U.S. Special Forces unit are sent into the Bolivian jungle on a search and destroy mission. The team -- Clay, Jensen, Roque, Pooch and Cougar -- find themselves the target of a lethal betrayal instigated from inside by a powerful enemy known only as Max." Read More at Yahoo!

The Losers in theaters Friday, April 23

Who is Steve Rogers?

Answer: Captain America

I saw a story on Yahoo! about people in the running to play Captain America, so I thought I should make a suggestion. For the longest, my boyfriend and I have been saying, look-wise, Trevor Donovan would make a good Captain America. You’ve seen him before; he plays “Teddy” on CW’s 90210.

I’ve also noticed a few other blog suggesting Jensen Ackles from Supernatural, also on CW. He would be a cool Captain America too. But according to Yahoo!, he has scheduling conflicts. =/

R U Serious! I understand he may have contractual obligations with CW & Supernatural. But nothing comes before playing Captain America. Anyway, if it’s true, that's lame. He would be a good Captain America. I mean, have u seen Supernatural?!?! He is a straight-up bad ass! Lol.

According to Yahoo! candidates for the Captain America role include Michael Cassidy (Privileged & Smallville), Patrick Flueger (“Brothers” w/ Tobey Maguire), Wilson Bethel, and Mike Vogel (Cloverfield). Scott Porter and John Krasinski and are also a candidates according to MTV News.

Out of these handsomely talented men, my vote is on Mike Vogel or Scott Porter.

This is purely based on looks. Kinda shallow, I know. But what can I say, they’re hot! Lol.

But who knows what happen. Captain America is such an iconic super hero. And with the pressures of that fact, plus the success of other super hero/comic book movies, I’m sure they’re committed to making a film that will be amazingly awesome that’s filled with lots action.

Honestly, in the end, that’s all we’re asking for.

Keep it Cool.

None like Comic-Con

I can only imagine the excitement of being at Comic-Con, one of the largest comicbook conventions. I recently had plans to go to an Anime Convention with my brother and boyfriend, but I totally forgot to get coverage for my shift at work! Ugh! I was so upset. But it's okay. There's always next year i guess.

Anywho, enjoy these pics from Comic-Con:

Guilty Pleasures

You have no idea how disappointed i am to have lent my comic books to a friend and not have it back in my possession. I gave her comics 1 thru 5 of Anita Blake: Guilty Pleasures a little before Twilight came out (Nov 2008- its now June 2009... Yeah, its been that long). UGH! This is aggravating cause i think she lost it, but the #1 issue is definitely something i MUST buy again.

If you're not into the series u should definitely check it out... I like it because she's not defined as a super hero. And although she kinda has "super powers" she's still human and vulnerable and acts like it in the comic book. My comic book chick said i should read the book instead. But i LOVE the comic book. And I dont think i can go book-to-comic like book-to-movie. But whatever. Check it out.

If I Were A Super Hero...

Well one guy is actually living his childhood dream and Shadow Hare is his name... serving his community and protecting the streets of Cincinnati , Ohio.

This is what happens when there's too many super hero movies. Just kidding. I love those things. But honestly, although this is hilariously hilarious, this guy either has nothing better to with his time or is completely devoted to fighting crime. You decide... The police is worried about this vigilante but i say if they were really worried they would find out who this guy is! He has a MySpace page! C'mon now! Really?!

Check this article about him: News.SoftPedia

Anywho if you could be a Super hero, what would your power be?

Personally, i like the idea of super enhanced agility... something like Cat Woman or the way Spiderman flips around. That plus amazing fighting skills would be AWESOMEEEE!!!!

Female Force Comic Book

Issues of Michelle's comic book was sold out the first day. Luckily, there's going to be a 2nd printing. There are more biographical comic books which are focusing on prominent females like Hilary Clinton, Sarah Palin, Condoleeza Rice, and Princess Diana.
