i had that same thought when i was posting this. how many people actually appreciate those soldiers who fought for our freedom? honestly, i often forget and it's more about the food than the fireworks. lol.
but than again, people use this day as a day of togetherness with their family and loved ones. so even if they forget, to me, it's forgiveable. at least they appreciate something special brought to them by the 4th of July. =)
This makes me wonder how many ppl actually celebrate the true meaning behind the 4th of July.. beyond the fireworks? lol
