My relationship with this song is bittersweet. On one hand I love it. But on the other hand I'm hating on it 'cause in 2008, I wrote a song called 'ALIEN' about someone's love being unfamiliar and foreign. Katy Perry jacking my stuff!!! That's what happens when you're so damn cool. I guess I'll let her have it this time. And to be honest, her song is slightly better than mine... I guess that's what happens when you have a team of writers and producers behind you, so yeah Katy, you win this time. But I got my eye on you. *side eye

This Might be Epic - Jay Z & Sade

He may be one of the first artists to hop on a track with Sade

According to The YBF, although she said previously that turned her back on collaborations, Sade has tapped Jay-Z for an upcoming Ultimate Collection set for a track called "Moon & The Sky." The project is currently scheduled for a May 3rd release and will make Jay the first hip-hop artist to work with the "Smooth Operator" singer. This ought to be interesting.

You know, I've never fallen out of love with Ms. Spears. I thought she went a little crazy at one point - you know what I'm talking about - But I've always been a fan of her music. The first CD I ever purchase was "Baby One More Time"... I must've been around 10 years old. That was the first thing I ever bought with my own money and I LOVED IT!! My friends thought i was crazy for bumping Britney Spears. But what can I say her music was hot and she's still pretty awesome today. Much love to Britney, do yo thang momma! Lol.

As some of you may know, Ne-Yo & Harmony contributed a lot to her last album, Epiphany, which was awesome. I'm looking forward to this new music from Miss Michele.

My husband hipped me to this song by Melody Thornton (former member of Pussycat Dolls), produced & written by Cee-Lo. And I must say, he has been on fire lately. Have you heard 'Fuck You'??? For those of you whom are familiar with Cee-Lo, his genius shouldn't surprise you. All in all, he's an awesome songwriter and artist in general - Look for his upcoming album The Lady Killer in December 2010. As for Melody, if this is a peek of what to come, then I'm definitely paying attention.

NEW MUSIC ::: Keri Hilson & Rihanna

Keri Hilson - Still A Girl

Miss Keri Baby leaked a new song - Still a Girl - from her upcoming album, "No Boys Allowed." The song describes a girl torn between her emotions and wants to push a guy away but is having a hard time doing so. This is a situation in which most chicks can relate. We've all been here.

I think it's a cool song. But a few other blog sites aren't really feelin' it, because it's softer than her other singles like "Return the Favor" or "Turning Me On". To on-lookers & spectators, it is somewhat of a different sound from Keri. One blogger said it reminded her of a Jessica Simpson song (and i can feel where she's comin' from). However, to me it resembles the mood, and honesty of her first single "Energy" or a more appropriate comparison, "I Like" or "Slow Dance." All in all, i'm curious to see what she has coming next.

I first learned of Rahbi when he opened the show for Janelle Monae in Atlanta. I love Janelle Monae, especially with her being SO theatrical, so the last thing I expected was someone who could even compare. Janelle Mentions Rahbi in Interview

However, in his own way, Rahbi does – I'm awestruck by his amazing stage presence, energy, and music. Plus, his song ‘Edge of My Life’ is really good. In short, he’s pretty much what would happen if “Prince and Grace Jones had a baby”... the ‘Prince of Glamour Soul’. And if you’re not convinced yet, well… Janelle Monae & Erykah Badu adore this man and if that doesn’t say much, then I dunno what else to say except check him out for yourself!
